Dear Sir/Madam, I am horrified to read about the Baird Govt.'s plans to change the land clearing laws. Scientists say the changes would result in more degraded land, damage to river systems, increased carbon emissions and the loss of habitat for threatened species, such as koalas I call on the government to withdraw the Draft Biodiversity Conservation Act and Local Land Services Amendment Act, and commit to laws which will genuinely improve outcomes for nature. Please count this as my submission to the proposed biodiversity conservation reform package. I give permission for this submission to be made public. Yours Sincerely, Heath Blanshard
