I simply don't understand why anyone would remove the Native Vegetation Act 2003.

Our parents fought to save the native flora and fauna when they realised how much had been lost, now you are simply discarding the rest. What is going to replace the native vegetation we are losing? Offsets will not work in time. Saving biodiversity is the most important thing we can possibly do in this era of anthropogenic climate alteration. This new Biodiversity law 'reforms' package, including the proposed Draft Biodiversity Conservation Bill 2016 and Draft Local Land Services Amendment Bill 2016 is shocking and reckless. If the NSW Government does not withdraw these proposals there will be dire repercussions .
